Former chairwoman of Bath Magistrates Court and social worker Charlotte Bayntun-Coward has died at her home aged 77.
Mrs Bayntun-Coward held many prominent positions in the city including being one of the first qualified social workers attached to Combe Down Surgery.
She was also a Bath magistrate for 27 years until 1999 and chaired the court in North Parade Road.
